Hog Roast Antrim headed to Muckamore Cricket Club in Antrim on 14th September for a family fun day. Catering Manager Jamie led the team. In the weeks beforehand, they planned a winning menu to suit all guests. With 100 guests to feed, the team arrived at the venue in good time to get prepped to serve at 3pm.

The chosen menu was a Gourmet BBQ, which was perfect for this outdoors event on a sunny September afternoon. The chefs cooked everything on-site which created a delightful aroma that drew the crowds in. The feast included everything from handmade British burgers, made with quality beef, topped with fried onions and melted cheese. Next, were our own gourmet sausages and Thai chicken skewers that guests raved about.
Every main is always served with a selection of fresh bread rolls and wraps, including wholemeal and gluten-free options. Rest-assured, when guests have dietary requirements, we’ll always work with you to create a fully customised menu. We’ll always take your lead.
Jamie’s Hog Roast Antrim team also took extra care to provide two delicious vegetarian and vegan alternatives, including vegetarian burgers and grilled veggie and halloumi skewers. They were paired with wraps for easy mingling, and a choice of dips such as tzatziki and sweet chilli sauce.
Of course, no BBQ spread would be complete without the all-important sides. And, we delivered on that front too. As it was a buffet spread, guests could top up their plates with green leaf salad and a mixture of traditional and sweet potato fries. The meals were served with eco-friendly wooden bamboo crockery, as we’re always looking to be more sustainable. Hog Roast Antrim were delighted to be a part of such a fun afternoon.
