Hog Roast Larne – A Bank Holiday Wedding Feast for Suzanne and Sy

Hog Roast LarneBank Holiday Monday was extra special in Larne this year, as Suzanne and Sy tied the knot at the beautiful Hillmount House. Catering Manager Jamie and the team from Hog Roast Larne were proud to be part of the celebration, serving a mouth-watering Gourmet BBQ feast for 91 guests.
The smell of the grill filled the air as the team cooked up hand-made British beef burgers, chef’s own gourmet sausages, Thai chicken kebabs, and BBQ marinated spareribs. Guests piled their choices high onto fresh bread rolls and Hog Roast Larnewraps, complete with fried onions and cheese for an indulgent finish.
Of course, no wedding menu would be complete without something for everyone. The Hog Roast Larne team provided a homemade vegetarian and vegan option of grilled vegetable skewers, with or without halloumi, served with wraps, tzatziki, and a punchy sweet chilli sauce. It proved to be just as popular as the BBQ classics.
Alongside the mains came a colourful selection of sides: seasonal green leaf salad, Greek salad, chef’s own pasta salad, herb-dressed new potatoes, and a big helping of both traditional and sweet potato fries, finished off with sauces, salt, and vinegar. It was a true banquet, perfect for a summer wedding on a bank holiday.
Everything was served buffet style onto bamboo crockery with wooden cutlery and quality napkins, keeping the look elegant yet relaxed. Guests mingled, laughed, and celebrated together, enjoying every bite as the August sunshine made it a wedding to remember.
