Earlier in 2024, Hog Roast Dungannon was contacted by Ellen to provide catering at her upcoming dinner party. Ellen moved into a new home at the end of 2023 and has been busy renovating and redecorating it to suit her taste. Now that the work is complete, she is hosting a dinner party for her friends to attend to show off her new home and celebrate the competition of the renovation process. For the catering, our manager Jamie has been hired to provide a classic hog roast for the occasion, with a meat-free main dish also on offer. Our catering is sure to be a great addition to the evening and will leave Ellen free to tour her home and enjoy spending time with her friends.
In preparation for this event, the Hog Roast Dungannon team will arrive at the home in the afternoon to prepare for the 8:00pm meal time. We will begin by slow-roasting the hog and allowing it over five hours to roast on-site. Once ready, the meat will be carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Alternatively, the guests will be able to enjoy BBQ-pulled jackfruit, which is a tasty and smokey veggie option. The mains will be accompanied by homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, and a green leaf salad, creating a varied and delicious evening meal.
