Earlier this December, Hog Roast Lisburn catered a wonderful birthday party for Steven’s 40th birthday. He wanted to enjoy a celebration with 65 of his friends and family, at his home in Lisburn. For the catering, our manager Jamie was hired to provide a classic hog roast for the event, with a variety of tasty sides. The buffet would be the star of the event and we hoped that this menu would be perfect for the occasion!
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Lisburn team arrived at the home with plenty of time to prepare for the 20:30 mealtime. We began by roasting the hog and ensuring that it had at least 5 hours to cook to perfection. Once the meat was packed full of natural juices and flavours, it was expertly carved by our chef and served in fresh bread rolls or a gluten-free alternative. The rolls were accompanied by sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling, as well as crunchy coleslaw and homemade chips. Our menu went down a treat and was a great addition to the evening. Steven loved his birthday party and even got to enjoy the first snowfall of the year as it took place outside! The Hog Roast Lisburn had a great time catering for this party and it was a brilliant event to be a part of!
