Want Your Wedding Celebrations To Last A Little Longer? Hire Hog Roast Larne To Take Care Of Your After Party!

Hog Roast LarneThey say your wedding day flies by – and honestly, they’re not wrong. One minute you’re getting ready, adjusting ties and fixing veils. The next? You’re waving goodbye and wondering where all the time went. Between the vows, the photos, the speeches and trying to spend at least a few moments with every guest, it’s no surprise the whole thing can feel like a bit of a whirlwind… But what if it didn’t have to end so quickly?

These days, Hog Roast Larne is finding more and more couples are choosing to stretch out their celebrations, turning one special day into a full weekend of memories. Welcome dinners the night before, relaxed gatherings the day after – it’s all about giving yourself that extra time to actually enjoy it all.

That’s exactly what our latest couple had in mind.

After tying the knot, they weren’t quite ready to say goodbye to the celebrations just yet, so on the 26th of April, they invited Hog Roast Larne to cater a post-wedding lunch – a chance to slow things down, catch up properly with loved ones and relive some of the best moments from the day before.

And honestly? It was the perfect call.

Our catering manager Jamie got to work early, putting together a spread that felt generous, comforting, and just right for the occasion. Nothing too formal, nothing too rushed – just great food that brought everyone together again.

Hog Roast LarneAt the centre of it all was our signature hog roast. Slow-cooked until beautifully tender, with golden crackling and layers of flavour from sage and onion stuffing, it was served with soft rolls, wraps and homemade applesauce. Simple, yes – but done properly, and that’s what makes all the difference. Hog Roast Larne also added marinated chicken thighs and served fresh mixed salads and creamy coleslaw on the side, giving the guests plenty to choose from as they filled their plates.

And for those skipping the meat altogether, Hog Roast Larne made sure they were just as well looked after. BBQ pulled jackfruit sliders, rich with hickory flavour and topped with vegan ‘slaw, proved to be a standout option that didn’t feel like an afterthought.

The best part of it all was the atmosphere. The day was relaxed, easy-going, and full of laughter – just what our clients had in mind.

Even more importantly, it meant one more day in that wedding bubble – and a few more memories to take with them.
