When outdoor gatherings were first permitted, Mark was still unsure about hosting a birthday party for his sons 18th, since he did not feel comfortable with the idea of hosting an event and hiring a catering team. He reached out to Hog Roast Clonoe to discuss the social distancing measures that we have in place, including frequent hand washing, sanitising stations, timed buffet slots, and outdoor catering. On the day of the event, our Hog Roast Clonoe catering team arrived in advance to set up our socially distanced catering stand and begin preparing the menu. This included slow roasting the pig, preparing the salad dishes, and serving the fresh bread rolls and wraps. Once the guests had arrived we served their meal to them during their assigned buffet slot, to reduce the risk of long queues or overcrowding. Overall, the event was a great success and strictly followed current government guidelines, creating a safe yet enjoyable evening.
