A local football club recently contacted Hog Roast Magherafelt to hire us to cater for their upcoming family fun-day. The event is set to include activities for guests of all ages to enjoy, including football mini games, face painting, music, and tasty food. The aim of the event is to attract new members to the club and promoting the event as far as possible is the best way to do this. By providing catering, the event will appeal to a bigger number of people- which is excellent! For the catering, Hog Roast Magherafelt was hired to provide a classic hog roast for 250 guests to enjoy, as this is a delicious and simplistic menu.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Magherafelt team arrived at the football grounds with plenty of time to prepare for the event. Once our station was set up, we began to slow-roast the hog for the main course, alongside succulent pork sausages and veggie sausages. The main dishes were served in fresh bread rolls, with gluten-free options also on offer. For the side dishes, we also served homemade chips, sage and onion stuffing, seasonal salad dishes, and sweet potato fries. The menu was simplistic yet included dishes for everyone to enjoy and a variety of tasty options. Our catering was a great addition to the event and went down a treat with the guests and the football players!
